When do you need to reclassify?

Reclassification recalculates all tracked objects (trackers) based on your current configuration. You should reclassify whenever you make changes in the Design tab after downloading results.

Common scenarios requiring reclassification:

• Added, removed, or modified Movements or Gates - any changes to the shape or position of measurement areas
• Changed target classification system - switching between GPR, Euro-6, SCPR, or other classification standards
• Defined speed measurement sections - added distance markers and measurement lines for velocity calculations
• Modified grouping intervals - changed time intervals for traffic aggregation
• Updated configuration parameters - any adjustments to measurement settings that affect how trackers are counted

After making any of these changes, the existing tracker data must be recalculated to reflect the new settings. During reclassification, the following classifiers are applied to each tracker:

Classifier	Description
CargoOcclusion	Detects if object is transported as CARGO
Movements	Calculates the assignments to the created movements
Velocity	Computes velocity based on cross-section crossings

Processing time and performance

The reclassification process can take several minutes, particularly for: - Measurements with dozens or hundreds of tracked objects - Complex configurations with multiple gates and movements - Long measurement periods with extensive tracking data

The AITracker system provides full results of the movement and classification of objects in the image. These results are stored in the format (.feather) of the appropriate directory for the given configuration ConfigurationX, where X = 0, 1, 2, .... Thanks to this solution, the client can further work with the results by changing configurations and reclassifying all objects (trackers).

Offline processing - no additional fees

Reclassification is performed entirely offline on the user's computer. This process does not require an internet connection and does not incur any additional charges. All computations are done locally using the already collected tracking data.

How to reclassify - step by step

Follow these simple steps to reclassify your measurement results:

1. Make your changes in the Design tab:
2. Add, remove, or modify gates or movements
3. Change the target classification system (e.g., GPR, Euro-6, SCPR)
4. Define or adjust speed measurement sections

5. Modify grouping intervals or other configuration parameters

6. Click the "Reclassify" button to start the process

7. Wait for completion - the program will:

8. Load all result files into memory
9. Recalculate all trackers with your new configuration

10. This may take several minutes, especially for measurements with many objects

11. Review the updated results once processing is complete

Important: Running reclassification automatically saves your entire configuration.

After reclassification

Once the reclassification process is complete, you can:

• Generate new reports - create updated traffic reports reflecting the new configuration
• Export data - export the recalculated results to various formats (CSV, Excel, etc.)
