Application settings
The Settings dialog allows you to customize the application behavior and appearance. All changes made in this dialog are automatically saved to your system and will be preserved between application sessions. You can open the Settings dialog from the main application menu: File → Settings or by using the keyboard shortcut.
Available Settings Sections
1. Sheets
Configure default options for data export and spreadsheet generation:
Default Classification: Select which vehicle classification system to use by default when generating quantity reports (e.g., GDDKiA 5+1, GDDKiA 13, etc.)
Default Grouping Period: Choose how to group data in time intervals (e.g., 15 minutes, 1 hour, daily)
Default Main Category: Select the primary grouping option for quantity reports (e.g., by direction, by vehicle type)
Default Quantity Sheet: Choose the default spreadsheet format for quantity reports
All these settings can be overridden on a per-analysis basis, but the defaults set here will be pre-selected when starting a new analysis.
2. Video
Configure default video processing parameters:
Default FPS (Frames Per Second): Set the default frame rate for video processing (valid range: 1-255 fps)
These settings are particularly useful when working with videos that don't have proper metadata or when you want to override the source video settings.
3. Reporting
Configure options related to report generation:
This section is reserved for future reporting options.
4. Regionalization
Configure language and locale settings:
Default Language: Select the application interface language (e.g., English, Polish)
The language change may require restarting the application to take full effect.
5. Interface
Customize the visual appearance of the application:
Theme: Choose between available color schemes:
AISP Minimal (Light): Clean, bright interface suitable for well-lit environments
AISP Dark: Dark theme that reduces eye strain in low-light conditions
Theme changes are applied immediately after saving the settings.

All settings are stored in a TOML configuration file located at:
Default Values
If you delete the settings file or if certain options are not set, the application will use its built-in defaults. You can always restore default behavior by removing specific entries from the settings dialog (selecting the default/empty option where available).
