Quick Start Guide

This quickstart guide will walk you through the essential steps to begin using AITracker GUI and configure a simple traffic measurement on a two-way road. A sample project (Example01Highway) is included with the AITracker GUI installation.

1. Installation and Launch

• Download: Visit www.aisp.pl, navigate to the download section, and download the installer for Windows (7, 8, 10, or 11).

• Install: Run the .exe file, select your language, and accept the license terms.

• Launch: Open the program from the Start Menu by typing "AITracker GUI" or "AI TR Guy".

2. Opening Video Folders

AITracker works with entire directories rather than individual files.

1. Go to Menu → Open file/folder

2. Select the folder containing your video recordings (e.g., Example01Highway)

3. The software will scan the directory and its subfolders for video files

4. After loading, select the location by clicking its name in the "Locations" tab

⚠️ Important: Ensure your files are named correctly with the date and start time, as the system defines time based on filenames rather than on-screen timestamps.

3. Designing Your Measurement

Once the location is loaded, navigate to the "Design" tab to configure how the AI should interpret the scene.

Service & Classification

• Select a service (e.g., Vehicle Counting)

• Choose a target classification (e.g., COBA7)

Drawing Gates/Movements

Option 2: Gates and Movements (Checkpoint-based)

1. Navigate to the "Gates" sub-tab

2. Click "Add Gate" and draw lines at entry/exit points

3. Navigate to the "Movements" sub-tab

4. Click "Add Movement" and click on source gate and then destination gate to define a movement relation

5. This method is ideal for intersections and parking lots

Results Configuration

1. Go to the "Results / Sheets" sub-tab

2. Select the classification (e.g., COBA7)

3. Set the grouping time (e.g., 15 minutes)

4. Choose the main category (e.g., Movements)

5. Select the result sheet format (e.g., XlsxEntraces)

4. Processing in the Cloud

AITracker uses the Google Cloud Platform to process videos up to 5x faster than real-time.

1. Go to the "Cloud" tab

2. Register/Login: New users receive 24 free hours of processing for testing

3. Send: Select your configured folder and click "Send"

4. You will receive an email notification once the analysis is complete

5. Retrieving Results and Reporting

Download Results

1. In the "Cloud" tab, click "Retrieve Results" (Odbierz wyniki)

2. The program will automatically generate preliminary data

Review Results

• In the "Results" tab, you can see a table of all detected vehicles

• Clicking a record will automatically jump the video to that specific vehicle's transit

• Final reports will be generated in XLSX, CSV, or XML formats along with traffic charts
